Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka and rapper Cordae have ended their 6-year relationship. Osaka shared the news on her Instagram story, stating they will continue to co-parent their daughter, Shai.
“No bad blood at all, he’s a great person and an awesome dad,” Osaka said on her Instagram story.
Honestly really glad our paths crossed because my daughter is my biggest blessing and I was able to grow a lot from our experiences together,” she continued.
The couple started dating in 2019 and went public with their relationship before welcoming their daughter in 2023. At that time, Osaka faced a pregnancy-related infection but delivered a healthy baby girl. She emphasized that they built a strong foundation as a family.
Moreover, the 27-year-old four-time Grand Slam champion has since returned to tennis after taking time off to focus on her family. Both she and Cordae remain dedicated to ensuring the best for Shai as they move forward separately.
