Former Danity Kane member accuses Diddy of treating her ‘like a piece of meat’ during ‘troubling interactions’

D. Woods, former member of Danity Kane, is speaking out about her troubling experiences with Sean “Diddy” Combs, saying he treated her “like a piece of meat” during Making the Band.

In a new interview, Woods reflected on her time in the Combs-produced girl group alongside Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres. She suggested that all the members had “troubling interactions” with Combs while filming the reality show.

“He did it in different ways with all of us, picking and prodding—just a way to chip and knock away and then praise you,” she said.

For the first time, Woods is publicly sharing her story in The Fall of Diddy, a new docuseries from Investigation Discovery. Watching old footage from Making the Band, she recalled feeling trapped in a toxic environment.

“I see myself standing in these dark, scary, predatory spaces, and hearing somebody say some of the most degrading things to me,” she said.

When asked what made Combs’ behavior feel predatory, Woods responded: “Somebody constantly treating you like a piece of meat, only valuing you for your sex appeal. In some of the environments, it was even scary to be by yourself.”

For years, Woods stayed silent, fearing she wouldn’t be believed.

“It’s more of a question of why I haven’t been able to speak up in the past,” she explained. “I feel like now is the time when my experience, my truth, will really be heard and actually considered and believed.”

She added, “Not talking hasn’t changed anything either.”

Combs’ Team Responds

Combs’ representatives have dismissed The Fall of Diddy—along with other recent documentaries—as an attempt to capitalize on the controversy surrounding the music mogul, who is facing multiple sexual assault allegations.

His lawyers criticized the documentary for what they call a lack of fairness and context.

“The producers failed to provide sufficient time or details for his representatives to address unsubstantiated claims, many from unidentified participants whose allegations lack context,” the statement read.

They further argued that the production was “clearly intended to present a one-sided and prejudicial narrative” and reiterated Combs’ stance that the accusations against him are “pure fiction.”

“He has full confidence in the facts and the judicial process, where the truth will prevail,” his team said.
