Cassie’s family is expanding once again! The singer shared the exciting news that she and her husband, Alex Fine, are expecting their third child together. She posted the announcement on Instagram, featuring a beautiful series of black-and-white family photos with Fine and their daughters, Frankie and Sunny.
Her caption was simple but sweet, just a pregnant woman emoji, a blue heart emoji, and “#3.”
Alex also shared a touching moment, posting a picture of their daughters giving Cassie’s baby bump a kiss. “Best gift I could ask for,” he wrote.
While Cassie hasn’t said exactly how far along she is, fans are speculating she’s about five months pregnant. The buzz started after Alex shared a GIF of Cardi B joking, “Bro, I’m five months pregnant! I can’t even breathe.”
This announcement comes after a quieter period for Cassie. In November 2023, she made headlines when she filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of rape, physical and emotional abuse, and sex trafficking. After settling the case, she spoke out on social media, thanking everyone for their support.
“Thank you for all the love from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet,” she wrote. “The outpouring of love has created a space for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning.”
Cassie also took time to address the realities of domestic violence, sharing how it deeply affected her. “Domestic violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.”
She encouraged others to support victims, urging people to believe survivors when they come forward.
