Kanye West and Bianca Censori are reportedly on the brink of divorce, according to The Daily Mail. This news comes after Censori’s awkward appearance at the Grammy Awards. Sources say the couple has already verbally agreed on a $5 million settlement after their short marriage, which began in December 2022.
A source close to West, 47, confirmed that they’ve already separated, and legal proceedings to end the marriage are expected to happen soon. Censori, 30, is staying at their $35 million home in Beverly Park North, Los Angeles, while West’s whereabouts remain unclear. Some speculate he may head back to Tokyo, Japan, where he spent much of last year.
At the Grammys on February 2, Censori seemed uncomfortable when West allegedly told her to take off her fur coat in front of the cameras, an act he reportedly called an “artistic statement” inspired by his Vultures 2 album cover. Despite the backlash, West later praised her on social media, calling her “smart, talented, brave, and hot,” and mentioned that they had made several adjustments to her outfit before settling on the final look.
Things took a darker turn as West made headlines for an anti-Semitic rant on social media, where he called himself a Nazi and praised Hitler. He also tried to launch a $20 T-shirt featuring a swastika, which Shopify quickly shut down. His comments were widely condemned by Hollywood figures, including actress Isla Fisher and Friends star David Schwimmer.
Later, West claimed his offensive remarks were part of a “social experiment” and that he had been misdiagnosed as bipolar, insisting instead that he’s autistic. He also made strange claims about believing he was a former Emperor of Japan, a belief he said Censori shared.
Before marrying Censori, West was married to reality star Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. People have raised concerns about his treatment of Censori, especially since she’s often been seen in increasingly revealing outfits since their marriage. Some critics accuse West of using her for publicity.
Recently, there were rumors the couple had split but later reconciled, leading some to believe their public drama might be a distraction. Insiders suggest West could be trying to deflect attention from a lawsuit filed against him by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, who accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her at a party with Sean “Diddy” Combs. West has denied the allegations, calling them “blackmail and extortion.”
