Protests are beginning to ramp up nationwide as people are starting to truly show their outrage over the videotaped murder of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police department. Downtown Los Angeles became the hotzone today as people took to the streets in the middle of the pandemic to express their ourtrage.
The protests started relatively smoothly, but things escalated rather quickly as protesters began to block traffic and clog up expressways. Things got relatively worse from there as the LAPD showed up in Riot gear.

One protester was taken to the hospital after falling off of a California Highway Patrol car on the 101 Expressway.
