The witness who filmed Ahmaud Arbery’s murder says he was just a witness and not part of the crime
William Bryan is in the middle of a storm that has the nation in outrage. Ahmaud Arbery’s assasination in Brunswick , Georgia on Feb 23rd was filmed and William Bryan was the one who filmed it. Bryan says that he was not part of the altercation that he was just filming what appeared to be a crime. In addition, he says he has been cooperating with the police from the get go.
Time will tell if he was part of the gruesome crime , but for now he is proclaiming his innocence. FYI. The video would not exist without William Bryan so he does get some benefit for that but side eye to everyone connected to this tragic and gruesome crime.
As you can see below , there are mixed reactions.
George and Travis McMichael have been arrested & charged with murder in the lynching of #AhmaudAubrey. William “Roddy” Bryan should also be charged as an accomplice. DA George Barnhill shld also be arrested for falsely stating that Aubrey’s criminal record justified his murder. pic.twitter.com/TnbiGz2Rwl— Buchanan Street Brawler (@RxMelatonin) May 8, 2020
Tell me everything you can about William “Roddie” Bryan, age 50, of Brunswick, Georgia.— Shaun King (@shaunking) May 7, 2020
He was an accessory to the murder of Ahmaud Arbery.
He filmed Ahmaud’s murder, was called by the McMichael’s to box Ahmaud in, and can be heard on the video cocking his gun.
