Akon and 6ix9ine might be going head-to-head in a battle of hits; at least according to Akon. No one saw that coming! The platinum-selling artist took to his Instagram Story on Saturday, the 16th of May, to share the news of this possible duel between both parties.
“@6ix9ine just challenged me to a battle tomorrow at 3:30 pm Live on IG, IT’S ON.” Akon wrote in his story behind a picture of what appears to be him on a FaceTime call with the rapper. Challenge accepted!
There hasn’t been any official word from 6ix9ine or Akon as to whether this is actually happening, or this is just another elaborate scheme for both parties to get some clout.
There’s a current trend of the battle of hits; so we can’t completely rule off the possibility of a match up! We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
