Ciara just checked off a major bucket-list moment at Trinidad and Tobago’s 2025 Carnival!
The singer and entrepreneur touched down on the island for the first time this week and dove headfirst into the celebration, bringing her signature energy and, of course, some smooth dance moves. Rocking a gorgeous blue feathered costume, Ciara shared a video of herself “chippin’ down di road” with a cup of Ten To One Rum in hand, taking in every bit of the vibrant festival.
“Chippin down di road with my @TenToOneRum cup & dancing with the people of Trinidad in Carnivale will forever be one of my most treasured moments!” she wrote on Instagram.
Local news outlet Loop reports that Ciara might be stepping into Soca music soon, possibly tying it into her rum brand, which she co-founded with Trinidadian CEO Marc Farrell.
“Trinidad is so beautiful, it’s my first time here and it’s the best time,” she told reporters. “I think we need a good soca song for Ten To One, that’s next on the list.”
Her Carnival video, set to Machel Montano’s “PARDY,” got fans pumped up—especially her husband, NFL star Russell Wilson, who couldn’t resist commenting, “This my mating call I see… keep sippin’ on that @tentoonerum … Cinco goin’ to be on di way!” Ciara, laughing, quickly shot back, “Someone come take my husband’s phone please.”
With the music, the energy, and the love from the crowd, Ciara’s first Carnival may just be the start of many more to come!
